This highly visible, strategic and critical role will lead the sales incentive and bonus reporting for the US sales teams, including Area Sales Directors and Vice Presidents of Sales, by tracking sales achievements to targets for all level of sales utilizing software-based tools and Microsoft Excel.The Sales Analyst will be the subject matter expert for all sales compensation plans and achievement measurement.They are expected to contribute in providing recommendations to the Senior Sales Managers and Operations teams on bonus structure relative to salary based on internal and market data.The position will involve using sales tracking software in order to complete detailed sales achievement reports and making informed suggestions for how to improve sales compensation.They will also guide and provide advice to marketing department, sales teams, and executives to assist in the development of sales targets, assess strategies to boost revenue, and develop promotional bonus programs.


  • Leads the training development and maintenance of the Sales Performance Software (Xactly) as the internal system expert.

  • Partners with key stakeholders, specifically Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations and IT to understand sales target achievement against goals.

  • Develop a strong working relationship with all sales personnel, including Sales leadership.

  • Manage processes for gathering, maintaining, and auditing all input files and data elements, as well as validating data within compensation systems.

  • Administer sales personnel records in the system, including creating and managing Sales Rep IDs and Manager hierarchy, new rep guarantee program and other compensation factors.

  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies on sales bonus calculations.

  • Obtain, evaluate and audit data for generating sales bonus report.

  • Research and resolve report discrepancies, issues and related inquires.

  • Responsible for reviewing and testing all bonus payment reports for accuracy and completeness and obtaining all necessary approvals to process monthly payments.

  • Process and submit monthly sales bonus payouts within specified deadline.

  • Research and resolve questions raised by corporate and field sales management regarding payments.

  • Create a detailed reporting structure for bonus analysis and reporting.

  • Help manage the quarterly closing process for US sales reps.

  • Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines.

  • Develop status reporting and monitor metrics on achievement.

  • Ad hoc analysis as needed in support of Americas commercial organization.

  • Attends appropriate management meetings to report on results.

  • Serve as liaison with sales operations regarding reporting, data management, workflow and changes.



  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrates proficiency or the ability to learn the use of sales reporting software, including the ability to continuously improve the software and related process.

  • Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively.

  • Exhibits ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple time sensitive requirements.

  • Communicate effectively and efficiently across all levels of the organization.

  • Manages time efficiently.

  • Works well with a team.

  • Is capable of translating financial and mathematical jargon into laymans terms for explanatory purposes.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years experience in managing multiple commercial projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Visio).

  • Familiar with platform/tools like, Oracle, Cognos and SQL.
