Rapidly growing financial technology company bringing efficiency to credit trading through data, technology and intuitively designed products is seeking an experienced Network Support Specialist to join it's team.

About the role:

We are seeking a Network Engineer / Support Specialist that is looking for a challenge in a fast paced environment to join our growing team. Candidate must be internally driven to go the extra mile to provide a best-in-class service experience. The candidate must be passionate about Network Engineering, cloud and has solid skills in IT, Systems Admin and support. In this role, the Network Support Specialist will be responsible for the overall network with additional focus on the Production infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

  • Respond to system generated alerts/escalations relating to any failures on the network
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive measures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware and software issues related to our platform
  • Help with VLANs, NAT devices, DHCP servers challenges and act as the network technical support subject matter expert for our customers and Sales team
  • Communicate technical matters to customers both orally and in writing
  • Own customer issues from creation to resolution
  • Work with internal teams to recreate and fix critical bugs
  • Contribute content to our knowledge base and help build support processes that will scale
  • Be available on call and perform routine night and weekend work

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Network Engineering and Support
  • Strong understanding of networking, Linux and AWS cloud based systems
  • Strong background in IT fundamentals: Experiencing with VLANs, NAT devices, DHCP servers, and software systems
  • Windows administration and Office 365 experience are a plus
  • Experience with scripting
  • Strong communication skills - comfortable talking to technical and nontechnical customers, developers and business
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and multitask effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Track issues and follow up in a timely manager
  • Demonstrate experience in the creation and management of technical documentation
  • Industry certifications are a plus: CCNP, CCNA, CCNET, CWNP, CWNA, Network+
