  • Build and lead multiple high performing software development teams
  • Provide execution focused leadership and guidance in order to deliver on the Product Roadmap while supporting and maintaining production Applications and Services
  • Partner with Product Management, Customer Success, and Sales to assure the development team is aligned with the overall vision and business goals of the Company
  • Work with the CTO and VP of Infrastructure to develop a technology strategy that supports the immediate business needs but can evolve to support future growth and innovation
  • Leverage Agile values and principles to continuously provide value and increase quality
  • Assure the efficacy of the development organization by monitoring and improving developer efficiency

How you ll know you re the right fit:

  • Collaborative, with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly motivated and self-managed, with a focus on execution and quality
  • A willingness to adapt to changing business goals and employ creative thinking to solve problems
  • Bachelor s degree, preferably in CS or a related field
  • 10 years of software development and design experience focusing on web applications
  • 7 years of development experience focusing on SaaS based platforms
  • 5 years of software development team leadership in an agile environment
  • Experience developing APIs, micro services, and data pipelines
  • Experience managing on-shore and off-shore development teams

Additional desired skills:

  • Strong web programming experience in the Microsoft stack including technologies such as: C#, .NET, MS Enterprise Library 6.0, MVC models, Entity Framework, privilege management frameworks, Ajax, XML/XSLT, WCF, JavaScript CSS and HTML, MSSQL
  • Experience leveraging Data Analytics and Visualization tools and services
  • Strong understanding of unstructured data stores MongoDB, Elastic, Hadoop
  • Financial industry experience; experience with market data feeds a strong plus.
