The Sales Associate is responsiblefor driving sales, establishing and maintaining customer relationships bydelivering superior customer service. The Sales Associate assists in themerchandising and maintenance of the floor and corresponding stockroomarea. This position reports directly to the Assistant Store Manager orAssistant Store Manager, Merchandising.
Assist customers in a timely,efficient and courteous manner delivering superior customer service. Utilizesuggestive selling techniques
Assist with merchandise selectionand merchandise returns
Handle each register transactionprofessionally and in a friendly manner
Fulfill phone and online orders to support the omni-channel customer experience
Knowledge of the sales floor andproduct.Able to articulate advantages,benefits and/or fits of various vendors
Utilize available tools to fosterindividual and store sales: clientele books, clientele call campaigns, andSales Associate Email
Move and flow merchandiseautonomously. Maintain the flooraccording to company directed standards.Maintain department area by size/vendor/silhouette/color/price anddiscount
Professionally handle phone callsand any customer service issues
Follow policies and procedures formarkdowns, re-ticketing, sensoring, and inventory control
Timely set up and signage ofpromotional events
Aware of inventory issues
Identify and reduce shrink indepartment
Assist store team with preparationand execution of annual inventory
Perform other duties as required
Sales Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business need including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Retail experience preferred
Excellent communication skills and be multitask oriented
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Requires the ability to perform general math computations
Possess basic computer skills, ability to use cash register
Ability to operate photographic and video equipment
Capable of performing some lifting of up to 25 pounds
