The Inside Sales Representative/Account Executive is an in-house, results-oriented individual who establishes and builds relationships to expand market presence. The Inside Sales role enables the achievement of established annual revenue objectives for net new business in conjunction with the company s marketing plan and sales region goals. This position reports to the Sales Department Manager. The primary focus of the position is to aggressively prospect via telephone sales to develop new business opportunities, execute specific sales and marketing plan objectives, and regional, vertical market and new account penetration goals. This primary responsibility is for placing outbound calls to identify, develop and secure product/equipment orders, system installation projects and new customers within the defined customer base, select house accounts or a specific assigned Sales Territory.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Through a strong team selling effort, the ISR will;
Initiates contact with current accounts to promote and sell products, services and solutions and to secure appointments
Initiates contact with prospective new customers to identify primary personnel responsible for products/services, promotes and sells products, services and solutions and to secure appointments
Administers sales lead generation list, updates and maintains CRM account database
Cultivates and maintains a strong working relationship with the customer on a pro-active level
Educates customers on all products and offerings
Quickly ascertains customer business and technology problems and proposes
solutions to alleviate those problems.
Articulates value and demonstrates Customer Intimacy
In conjunction with Sales & Marketing campaigns, targets new prospects
and audiences (i.e., using appropriate databases)
Develop technical and business knowledge relevant to the communications and information technology industry.
Be familiar with the concepts, practices, and procedures for the sale,
implementation and support of solutions.
Assist in company-wide and regional sales initiatives.
Partake in sales team meetings, training events and exercises.
Conduct all work activities in alignment with core values and mission.
Follow s selling method in the execution of sales efforts.
Tracks and monitors the progress of sales efforts to ensure customer expectations are being met.
Inform management by maintaining and submitting activity and results
reports (e.g., account history, weekly work plans).
Escalates customer issues accordingly
As well as providing an initial point of contact within offering the customer a
sense of customer care and easy access for sales quotes and ordering and maneuverability through our organization, ISR will also assist in timely resolution of problems and issues, by utilizing outstanding and immediate communications process with the customer; to create an environment to foster customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and long term loyalty.
