The Channel Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue related to Digium Sangoma products and services that get sold through the channel. To meet their objectives the CAM will identify new resellers/agents to recruit, and develop and expand relationships with resellers in the territory. This will include product training, sales support, and opportunity management.

The CAM must be able to travel 30-40% of the time in the assigned territory. The territory includes NY, PA, MA, CT, NJ, DE, ME, NH, VT, RI, Quebec. This is a remote position.

Job Duties:

  • Determine where resellers are needed in the territory.
  • Work with channel team to recruit new partners into Digium's Authorized Reseller Program.
  • Negotiate reseller contracts.
  • Set reseller sales goals.
  • Provide on-site demonstration of products.
  • Educate resellers about the tools and programs to make them successful.
  • Provide resellers with sales training.
  • Conduct regular reseller business reviews.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to drive partner revenue.
  • Document and manage all activities and communications in Digium's CRM system.
  • Meet reseller sales quota in the territory.
  • Assist resellers in closing opportunities through joint sales calls, assistance with quotations, and special pricing.
  • Manage reseller productivity improvement plans, demotions, and terminations.
  • Additional projects and dutiesas assigned.
  • Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years proven sales experience in IT networking or telephony.
  • Ability to travel up to 12 nights per month within the territory.
  • Must reside in a major city within the sales territory. States/Provinces include NY, PA, MA, CT, NJ, DE, ME, NH, VT, RI, Quebec.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in IP telephony sales is a plus.
  • MS Office proficiency including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Safesforce.com is a plus.
  • Good understanding of IT networking and telephony.
