Description of the Role
The Financial Clinic is seeking an Assistant Director of Business Development to build and manage relationships with nonprofit partners. The primary responsibility of the Assistant Director of Business Development will be to grow The Financial Clinic s nonprofit client base as we work toward making Change Machine a successful and sustainable social enterprise. The Assistant Director will advance the Clinic s lead generation and field penetration strategies and will maintain a pipeline of high value capacity building and Change Machine sales. Additionally, the Assistant Director will support the Business Development Manager to maintain the Change Machine sales pipeline to meet team-based revenue targets. The Assistant Director should be ready to play an important role in generating high growth for Change Machine product over the next five years.
An ideal candidate will possess financial security and nonprofit field knowledge, have extensive experience building and managing partnerships, and have experience scoping and managing fee for service contracts in the nonprofit sector. Some experience in social enterprise or SaaS product sales is highly preferred. The Assistant Director should be comfortable with aggressive revenue targets and a fast-paced work environment.
Finally, exceptional candidates will have a passion for social enterprise and financial security building, and have an understanding of the nonprofit practitioner experience, especially in how financial coaching can enhance the mission and outcomes of traditional nonprofit services.
