We are seeking an experienced PublisherAccount Manager to effectively manage, track, scale and retain the relationships with a portfolio of publisher client's post-sale. This involves on-boarding management, scheduling regular calls with the client, optimizing relationships around performance, providing QBRs, and serving as the first point for any troubleshooting inquiries. Additionally, the senior account manager will facilitate outreach for ads.txt, product updates and QBRs.

The Account Manager will be a pivotal part of the success of our supply business. This position will require a strong mix of analytical skills and previous client facing experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own relationships with a portfolio composed of mid-to-large sized publisher accounts
  • Manage all phases of the publisher relationship post-sale
  • Conduct regular business reviews with publishers. Employ consultative, long term approach and build productive relationships with stakeholders of all levels within the publisher organization
  • Oversee the on-boarding of new publisher supply and proactively find and execute optimization opportunities
  • Keep publishers informed of Undertone's demand trends and product updates
  • Main point of contact for all post-sale partner requests and inquiries. Manage and escalate as necessary with other internal teams (such as Sales, Operations, Technology, and Product)
  • Know the ins and outs of your publishers
  • Be comfortable having tough conversations
  • Become a full expert of Undertone's ad formats
  • Profile and Experience:

  • 2-4 years account management or other client facing or consulting experience (experience with digital publishers and/or digital partners a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with online advertising and/or publishing. Knowledge of the competitive digital landscape (Display, Mobile, In-App, Video, CTV/OTT) is a plus
  • Excellent quantitative skills and a proven ability to monitor, identify and present performance metrics (pivot tables are your friend)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (expect QBRs and client socializing)
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Web analytics experience (e.g. Google Analytics, Omniture, Web Trends)
  • CRM, such as Salesforce, experience a plus
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
